About This Community
MU Adult Day Connection is a 24 participant adult day health care center located conveniently on the MU Campus in Columbia, Mo. Every day participants gather at the center for health care, exercise, activities and socialization. Our professional staff includes nurses, an occupational therapist, and a medical social worker who provide high quality care to each participant. This type of respite care allows individuals to continue to live at home and delay entry into a long term care facility.

My husband’s care could not have been better anywhere else. They always had nurses and staff to take care of him and other clients. I always knew he was safe and in good hands. They loved the both of us like family. Best place ever!

My mother attended MU Adult Day Connection for one day per week for the first year she moved in with us. She had previously resided in an assisted living facility which closed. The at MU Adult Day Connection is WONDERFUL! They are kind, caring, accommodating and flexible. They exercise, play games, discuss issues and listen to stories of past events as it they hear them for the first time. They treat their clients with respect and dignity.

Adult Day Connection provided a safe, caring and social interactive environment for my father. They were responsive to his needs. They monitored and communicated with me any concerns about him.

MU Adult Day Connection is very supportive. My dad's caregiver always keeps me well informed how he is doing. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and helpful. The nurse gives ample time for me to fill medicine and I love the activities they have for him. Now dad has many new friends and a safe and caring environment to go to while I am at work.
